Akari Bastiaens

Akari Bastiaens had her first experience on stage when she was only five years old. She immediately demonstrated a strong predisposition for the piano which became more prominent when she, at the age of only six years old, won the Steinway Piano Competition Belgium. Not only did she win the first prize in her own age group, but was also awarded the Steinway & Sons prize for best overall performance.

By now, Akari has had many more successful appearances in national and international competitions winning many first prizes and special prizes. In 2023 she won the First Prize and the Mozart prize for best performance of a work by him in the MozArte international piano competition in Aachen (DE). The next year, she won First Prize, Presse Prize and Audience prize in the 2024 International Piano Competition for Young Musicians in Enschede (NL) In 2025 she won the First Prize, Presse Prize and Audience Prize at the 2025 Prinses Christina Concours (NL) and the First Prize at the International Chopin Competition for the Youth in Szafarnia (Poland) The jury praised the highly poetic and stylistically pure performance of Chopin’s second Ballade.

Akari has been a student at the Junior Conservatorium of Maastricht since 2019 where she first had piano lessons with prof. Joop Celis and from September 2025 on with prof. Ashley Wass. From 2022 she has also become an academy student of the Davidsbundler Music Academy in The Hague (NL) where she has lessons with Tatiana Abayeva and Borys Federov. She regularly attends masterclasses with Maestro Jean-Claude Vanden Eynden in performance and interpretation training.

Even at her young age, Akari has had the chance to perform on many professional stages participating in festivals such as the Arte Amanti International Chamber Music Festival, the Grachtenfestival, Festival Musicorum, International Festival Vocalis, Gentse Feesten and the Ljubljana Festival. Currently, Akari is on tour with the Euregio Jeugdorkest with which she performs M. Ravel’s pianoconcerto in G-major. In November 2026 she will make her debut at the Concertgebouw Amsterdam performing E. Grieg’s piano concerto.

Amanda Zoya Kierun

Amanda Zoya Kierun studies in a Music Primary School in Warsaw, Poland (Zespół Państwowych Szkół
Muzycznych No. 1 in Warsaw, Poland). She is 13 years old and loves music. She plays both the piano and the
violin. She has already won over 60 music competitions around the world on both instruments. She had the
pleasure to perform in Royal Albert Hall in London, during the film festival in Cannes in France, in New York
and Switzerland. She also performed with 4 different orchestras in Poland – playing both the piano and the
violin. She took part in many masterclasses with different professors such as Andrzej Jasiński (piano), Janusz
Olejniczak (piano), Philippe Giusiano (piano), Joanna Ławrynowicz-Just (piano), Akiko Ebi (piano), Janusz
Wawrowski (violin), Vadim Brodski (violin), Valeriy Sokolov (violin), Mariusz Patyra (violin).

Valère Burnon

Né en 1998 à Marche-en-Famenne (Belgique), Valère Burnon est un pianiste au talent prometteur et de renommée sans cesse grandissante. Lauréat de prestigieux concours internationaux — Épinal (1er prix, 2019), Brême (1er prix, 2021), Viotti (2e prix, 2023) et Reine Élisabeth (3e prix, 2025) — il séduit les scènes du monde entier par des interprétations passionnées et détaillées, portées par une maturité musicale affirmée, toujours en quête de lyrisme et d’expression.
Polyvalent, il dispose d’un répertoire riche et varié qui lui permet de se produire aussi bien en soliste qu’en musique de chambre ou avec orchestre. Il a notamment collaboré avec l’Orchestre Royal de Chambre de Wallonie, le Sinfonia Varsovia, ainsi qu’avec les orchestres de Bruxelles, Liège, Anvers, Milan et Metz, sous la direction d’Augustin Dumay, Kazushi Ono et Marc Albrecht. Il s’est également produit dans des salles prestigieuses telles que les Philharmonies de Cologne, Liège et Luxembourg, la Salle Cortot à Paris, le Studio 4 de Flagey et Bozar (Bruxelles), la Salle Reine Élisabeth d’Anvers, le Concertgebouw de Bruges, la Tonhalle de Düsseldorf ou encore la Yamaha Hall à Ginza (Tokyo).
Sa discographie comprend à ce jour deux enregistrements. Son premier album, paru en 2020 chez Azur Classical en collaboration avec le pianiste et compositeur belge Luc Baiwir, réunit des œuvres de Claude Debussy, Sergeï Prokofiev et Sergeï Protopopov, un compositeur russe futuriste méconnu dont les Préludes op. 32 n’avaient encore jamais été enregistrés. En 2021, il publie Neoteric chez Musicaphon, en duo avec le clarinettiste allemand Andreas Hermanski, consacré à Francis Poulenc, Ernest Chausson, Claude Debussy et aux compositeurs scandinaves Magnus Lindberg, Arvo Pärt et Rolf Martinsson.
Valère a découvert la musique à six ans avec le violon, avant que ses parents ne remarquent qu’il reproduisait à l’oreille, sur un clavier, tout ce qu’il entendait. Ils l’inscrivent alors aux cours de piano chez Émilie Chenoy à Marche-en-Famenne, qui le présente rapidement à son ancienne professeure Marie-Paule Cornia. Pendant près de dix ans, il travaille avec cette dernière au Conservatoire de Huy puis au Conservatoire Royal de Liège. Parallèlement, il poursuit le violon avec Valérie Cantella au Conservatoire de Ciney et joue dans divers orchestres, parmi lesquels l’Orchestre Terra Nova de Namur (dir. Étienne Rappe) et l’Orchestre Symphonique des Étudiants de Louvain-la-Neuve (OSEL, dir. Philippe Gérard).
En 2016, il intègre la classe de Jean Schils et Marie-Paule Cornia au Conservatoire Royal de Liège, où il obtient son bachelier en 2018, après avoir également travaillé avec Étienne Rappe et François Thiry. Il poursuit sa formation à la Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln auprès de Florence Millet et y obtient en 2021 un Master avec la plus grande distinction. Admis la même année à l’Accademia Incontri col Maestro d’Imola, il perfectionne son art auprès de Leonid Margarius, y décrochant en 2024 un Diploma Master. Depuis 2022, il est Artiste en Résidence à la Chapelle Musicale Reine Élisabeth, bénéficiant des précieux conseils artistiques de Frank Braley, Avo Kouyoumdjian et Jean-Claude Vanden Eynden.
Fidèle à son premier instrument, le violon, il cultive un profond attachement au répertoire chambriste et enseigne depuis 2022 la musique de chambre au Conservatoire Royal de Liège, assistant son ancien professeur Jean-Gabriel Raelet.

Aude Van de Keere

Aude Van De Keere (2003) started her violin education when she was five and received her first piano lessons at the age of eight. In 2014, she competed in competitions for the first time and quickly received first prizes for both instruments. When she turned eleven, she was selected to participate in the international chamber music course and festival “Musica Mundi”, in which she took part every year from 2015 until 2020.

In 2015, Aude became a student of Hagit Hassid-Kerbel for piano and Leonid Kerbel for violin. To be able to combine her studies she received the AGODI Top Art Status.

In 2018, Aude was admitted to the Musica Mundi School for Young Talents, where she combined her secondary studies with a professional music education in the class of Jacques Rouvier and Hagit Hassid-Kerbel for piano and the class of Leonid Kerbel for violin.

In 2021, at the age of eighteen, Aude graduated Summa cum Laude from the Musica Mundi School. In 2024 she obtained her bachelor diploma at the Royal Conservatoire of Antwerp for piano in the class of top pianist Polina Leschenko, again with highest distinction. She continues her violin studies with top violinist Aylen Pritchin.

Aude also studied under the guidance of Sergio Tiempo for half a year. Next to that, she participated in many masterclasses with artists such as Menahem Pressler, Natalia Trull, Itamar Golan, Vitaly Samoshko, Shai Wosner, Gabriela Montero, Nicholas Angelich, Mariangela Vacatello, Jura Margulis, Mateusz Borowiak, Eliane Rodrigues, Liebrecht Vanbeckevoort, Hannes Minnaar, Alexandra Soumn, Ivry Gitlis, Vladimir Perlin, Jussi Siirala, Catherine Michel, Jerome Pernoo, Mikhail Zemtsov, Chang-Xin Guan and many more.

Aude participates in national and international competitions. In 2019, she won the third prize in the international piano competition “Merci Maestro” as youngest participant of her category. She was also named Young Ambassador of the Belgian National Orchestra.

Aude is very active both as a soloist and a chamber musician and performs with different chamber music ensembles. She is regularly invited to festivals like Belgium Cello Festival, Arte Amanti Chamber Music Festival, PianoParels Festival, etc. Furthermore she is a member “Trio Maskerade” with violinist Leon Blekh and cellist Krzysztof Michalski.

Aude performs in Belgium and abroad with concerts that have been broadcasted on tv and radio. Next to public concerts, she is frequently asked to perform for private events and recordings. Her interpretation of Chopin’s third piano sonata has been broadcasted on Stingray Classica multiple times.

In 2022, Aude worked with the famous composer Jacqueline Fontyn and performed one of her masterpieces, “Le Gong”, on her award ceremony.

In 2023, Aude performs Mendelssohn’s double concerto for violin, piano and orchestra together with the renowned violinist Gilles Apap at the international arts center De Singel.

Loris Douyez

Born in 1999 in Mons, Loris Douyez was given an eighth violin by his maternal grandmother on his 4th birthday, and therefore began playing it. Since his first concert as a soloist (at the age of 7), he has performed numerous times in Belgium and abroad during concerts and festivals: Django Reinhardt (Belgium), Carrefour Mondial de l’Accordéon (Canada) , Novosibirsk Festival (Siberia),…

At the age of 9, he decided to take accordion lessons in the class of his father, Olivier Douyez. In 2014, he entered Arts² (Academy of Arts – Mons, Belgium) as a “Young Talent” for both instruments. In his father’s class for the accordion, and in Daniel Rubenstein’s class for the violin.

He has followed numerous masterclasses on the violin with, among others; Jerrold Rubenstein, Ivry Gitlis and on accordion with Jacques Mornet, Vladimir Orlov, Massimiliano Pitocco, …

Since 2014, Loris Douyez has been a member of Duo Douyez (violin-accordion duo with his father).

From 2018 to 2021, he studied violin with Wibert Aerts, within Arts² and obtained a Specialized Master in violin, alongside his Specialized Master in accordion obtained with the highest points in June 2022.

Loris Douyez also has two Didactic Masters, one on the violin and the other on the accordion, thus giving him the number of 5 Masters obtained in a Superior School of Music.

He has participated in numerous international competitions and won numerous prizes, including 2nd place (Masters category) at the 74th Coupe Mondiale de l’accordion in Munich (Germany), in October 2021, 2nd place (Premio category) at the PIF Castelfidardo International Competition 2022 as well as a 3rd place (Senior Classical category) during the 2023 edition of the Trophée Mondial de l’Accordéon. On the violin, he won first prize in the Mendelssohn competition in February 2023 and in November 2023 the prestigious grant from the Nany Philippart Foundation.

Loris Douyez also received a scholarship from the Chopin Stichting Stiftung Foundation in September 2024.

Loris Douyez is part of the Ensemble Musiques Nouvelles and has already participated in numerous concerts: « Jean-Luc Fafchamps & Musiques Nouvelles », « À l’Unison », « Rituels Sonores », « Brecht on the Groove », “60 ans”,…

Working in close collaboration with current composers such as Denis Bosse, Claude Ledoux, Stéphane Orlando, … more than 50 works for accordion alone or with ensemble have been created by Loris Douyez.

He also had the great opportunity to perform the Belgian premiere of the accordion concerto “Recall” by Per Nørgård accompanied by the Orchestre Philharmonique Royal de Liège as part of the Classic Academy 2021.

Also a composer, his music has already been performed in various countries (Denmark, Canada, Russia, Italy, Poland, etc.) and numerous projects are currently being written (solo repertoire, orchestra, chamber music, etc.). His work “Oppression” for accordion and orchestra was the test piece in the third round of the “Prix Accordéons-nous.org 2023” (Mons, Belgium).

Loris Douyez has just obtained an Advanced Postgraduate Soloist Performer on the accordion in the class of Geir Draugsvoll at the Royal Danish Academy of Music (Copenhagen, Denmark) as well as a Certificate of Advanced Studies on the violin in the class of Ilya Gringolts at the Zürcher Hochschule der Künste (Zurich, Switzerland).

At the same time, he continued to take violin lessons with his teacher, Mrs. Véronique Bogaerts.

Since October 2023, Loris Douyez has been an assistant-professor of accordion at Arts2 (Academy of Arts – Mons, Belgium).

Loris Douyez plays on a Charles-François Gand violin known as “Gand Père” from 1840, loaned graciously by the Baron Arthur Grumiaux Foundation.

Stanislaw Oracz

Stanisław was born in Toruń, Poland on 21 July 2003 and has graduated with distinction from Zespół Szkół Muzycznych im. Karola Szymanowskiego (Karol Szymanowski Music School Complex). He is currently a second year student in the Royal Conservatory of Brussels in class of professor Valentina Igoshina and Timothée Urbain. He regularly takes part in national and international piano competitions. His main achievements are: 3rd Prize at the Neapolitan Masters Competition (2022), distinction presented by the Main Jury and 2nd prize presented by the Student Jury at the 10th edition of International Competition for Young Pianists „Broumov Key” (Czech Republic, 2021), 2nd prize and a Special Award at International Jan Hoffman Piano Competition in Cracow (Poland, 2020), 2nd prize at International Chopin Piano Competition in Turzno (Poland, 2019), Distinction at XIV National Competition for Piano Duos in Toruń (Poland, 2018), distinction at VIII International Janina Garścia Piano Competition in Stalowa Wola (Poland). Stanisław improves his pianistic abilities by participating regularly in master courses and private lessons with important professors, such as prof. Michel Béroff, prof. Claudio Martinez Mehner, prof. Andrzej Jasiński, prof. Janusz Olejniczak, Florent Boffard, Aviram Reichert and many others. In 2021 he was invited as one of 11 pianists to participate in International Piano Academy „Feuerwerk” in Germany. He has performed in many venues, such as Chopin Center in Szafarnia (Poland), concert halls of music academies in Kraków, Katowice, Łódź, Bydgoszcz, Gorzów Philharmonic, Academie de Malmedy (Belgium), Auditorium Wielick in Liége, École Supérieure des Arts in Mons, the Museum of Mikolajus Ciurlionis (Druskininkai, Lithuania) and several times as a soloist with Toruń Symphony Orchestra. In November 2023 he was invited to perform for Polish Radio in Warsaw as a part of „Chopin Marathon” project organised for the Polish Independence Day.

Adam Suska

Adam Suska, a violinist born in Gdańsk, is a young artist who can be heard more and more often on concert stages in Poland and in Europe. He has an extremely rich repertoire for his age. In 2022 he has made his debut as a soloist with Polish Baltic Philharmonic conducted by G. Tchitchinadze, Świętokrzyska Philharmonic in Kielce conducted by M. Pijarowski, Zielonagóra Philharmonic conducted by R. Kłoczko, Koszalin Philharmonic conducted by J. Chrenowicz and EOK in Elbląg conducted by R. Droń. Also Adam Suska performed in 2022 recitals at the National Philharmonic in Warsaw and at EMANACJE Festival at the Krzysztof Penderecki European Centre for Music.

He is a laureate of many prestigious awards at international violin and music competitions. His most important achievements include: II prize in 15th International Violin Competition. K. Lipiński and H. Wieniawski (2021), Grand Prix Opus Competition, (2021) Grand Prix Puławy and The Violin Competition, III prize in EuroAsia Competition Tokio (Japan, 2021), Grand Prix Piła Festival & Academy and special prize: concert with Pomeranian Philharmonic in Bydgoszcz and Grand Prix Virtuoso&Belcanto Competition Lucca (Italy, 2021 and 2022).

He is the recipient of scholarships from the Minister of Culture and National Heritage, the J. Semkow Foundation, the National Children’s Fund, the President of the City of Gdańsk, Marshal Office of Pomorskie Voivodeship, Rotary Club Gdańsk-Sopot-Gdynia.

He began learning to play the violin at the age of eight in Gdańsk. After graduating from the S. Suzuki School of Music in the class of Anna Podhajska, he continued his education at the Z. Brzewski Music School in Warsaw under the supervision of Prof. Magdalena Szczepanowska. He was also educated under the supervision of Prof. Yair Kless in Buchmann-Mehta School of Music in Tel-Aviv and Scuola di Musica di Fiesole in Italy. He is currently studying at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw under the supervision of Prof. Agata Szymczewska.

Since October 2022 Artist in Residence at the prestigious Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel under the direction of Augustin Dumay. Adam is supported by a grant from an anonymous donor.

Krzysztof Michalski

Krzysztof Michalski was born in 2003 in Poland.

He started playing the cello at the age of 6 and from the age of 10 he worked under the artistic direction of maestro Henryk Zarzycki, who granted him a scholarship at EAFIT University in Medellín, Colombia, allowing him to study there during the summer of 2015 and 2016.

In the years 2019-2021, Krzysztof was a student at the international school Musica Mundi in Waterloo, Belgium (studying with Aleksandr Khramouchin, Claire Oppert, Vladimir Perlin and Jérôme Pernoo).

Currently, he continues his training at the CNSM in Paris in the cello class of Jérôme Pernoo and Edgar Moreau, and in the chamber music class of Claire Désert and François Salque.

He was invited to perform at the festival La Roque-d’Anthéron in summer 2023.

Over the last 3 years, he has won several international competitions like Johansen International Competition, USA, Zoltán Kodály Competition, Hungary, David Geringas Competition, Lithuania, or Brussels Cello Competition, Belgium.

He has performed as a soloist with symphony and chamber orchestras in Poland, Germany, Hungary, Belgium, Lithuania and Colombia.

His artistic production also includes several recitals in Europe, Asia, North and South America.

Since 2020, under the direction of Polina Leschenko and Sergio Tiempo, he has worked regularly with the young Belgian pianist Aude Van De Keere with whom he studies and performs the repertoire for cello and piano.

Jan Wachowski

Pianist, kamermusicus en componist, hij studeerde af in piano en compositie aan de Fryderyk Chopin Muziekuniversiteit in Warschau. Momenteel volgt hij een gespecialiseerde masteropleiding aan het Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles in de pianoklas van Eliane Reyes en kamermuziek bij Łukasz Chrzęszczyk aan de Frederic Chopin University of Music.

Hij heeft als pianist opgetreden in: Belgie, China, Duitsland, Noorwegen, Polen en Italiº, waaronder in: de Grote Centrale Hal van de Verboden Stad in Beijing, Koninklijk Theater Brussel, Nationale Filharmonische Hal Warschau, Koninklijk Paleis Warschau, Filharmonische Hal Szczecin, Opera en Filharmonische Hal Bialystok, Gorzow Philharmonic Hall, Frederic Chopin’s geboortehuis in Żelazowa Wola, het Museum van het Nationale Frederic Chopin Instituut in Warschau, en op internationale muziekfestivals, waaronder het 74e Internationale Chopin Festival in Duszniki Zdroj. In 2023 won hij de tweede prijs en tien niet-wettelijke prijzen op de derde Internationale Poolse Muziekwedstrijd in Rzeszów. Hij won ook talrijke muzikale prijzen op nationale en internationale concoursen: de 49e Nationale Fryderyk Chopin Pianocompetitie in Warschau, de Theodor Leschetizky Internationale Pianocompetitie in Hamburg, de 10e Nepomuk Hummel Internationale Pianocompetitie in Bratislava, de 5e Halina Czerny Stefanska Internationale Pianocompetitie in Poznań, de Anton Rubinstein Internationale Competitie in Duitsland, de 4e Fryderyk Chopin Internationale Pianocompetitie in Podkarpacie en de Grote Prijs op de 5e Nationale Pianocompetitie in Szczecin.

Zijn belangrijkste compositie tot nu toe is het Pianoconcert, geschreven in 2021. Als componist won hij de 1e prijs in de categorie kwintet tijdens de 1e Cum Laude Music Awards International Composition Competition in Madrid voor zijn compositie van het Pianokwintet, dat werd bekroond met de titel “Beste Pianokwintet in 2017”. Het kwintet is opgenomen op cd door Daniel del Pino en het Habemus Kwartet en is door hen bij verschillende gelegenheden uitgevoerd tijdens het artistieke seizoen 2017/18 in Madrid, waaronder in de Madrid Philharmonic Hall.
